Adding an “Institution” to Wikimedia Commons
There’s a way to designate an “Institution” and create a collection of images from that museum, which could be handy in the lace community editing projects.

Our first meeting will be an overview of the Enhancing Lace in WIkipedia project, with the issues and the goals of the project outlined. Although we may have time to cover a few technical things, it won’t be a training session per se.
But if you are curious about the project and are considering becoming an editor of Wikipedia, we can help you to understand the scope and the basic features of adding content, fixing typos, offering images, and sprucing up the pages in the scope of this project.
Extensive list of early lace books
While going down one rabbit hole, I happened upon another one. There was an excellent list of early lace books all in one place that I hadn’t seen before. And then I realized how many more of these patterns were already in Wikimedia Commons….
